Leading the way for filing the documents using the ICEGATE system for SEZs
Logi-Sys has achieved early compliance with India's new ICEGATE mandate for SEZs
Effective July 1, 2024, filing documents for import and exports in respect of all non-IT/ITES SEZs and FTWZs is to be done via the new ICEGATE portal, as per Govt. of India mandate. The move comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to digitize and streamline customs processes in India.
Previously, the SEZ online system was managed by NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited) e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. The shift to the ICEGATE portal, as mentioned in the new mandate, represents a significant change from this NSDL-managed system to one that's more integrated with the broader customs infrastructure under CBIC.
